Chula Vista Golfer , September was a month to remember at Chula Vista Golf Course!

From sold-out family events to exciting new specials, September was filled with energy both on and off the course. We welcomed guests back to our newly reopened Slice Society Restaurant, celebrated with Breakfast with Bluey, and enjoyed plenty of great golf under sunny skies.

We’re thrilled to bring back one of our favorite fall traditions — the Monster Mash Brunch! It’s a family-friendly Halloween celebration filled with food, fun, and plenty of festive spirit. Here’s what’s in store:

Slice Society is Open at the Chula Vista Golf Course

After much anticipation, we’re thrilled to announce that our brand-new Slice Society Restaurant has officially opened its doors! The clubhouse has been given a fresh new look, and now it’s the perfect place to gather with friends, family, or fellow golfers before or after your round.

Start your morning off right with a delicious breakfast featuring chef favorites like chilaquiles, fluffy pancakes, and golden waffles. For lunch, enjoy hearty options like our club sandwich, French dip, fresh salads, or a classic burger. Shareable bites — including wings, mac and cheese bites, and rolled tacos — make it easy to relax with friends over good food and cold drinks.

But Slice Society isn’t just about the menu — we’ve completely revamped the space with a welcoming atmosphere, brand-new tables, and a modern bar. Stop in to catch your favorite football or golf game on our TVs, grab a cold beer on draft, or challenge your friends to a round of shuffleboard. With a full bar, casual comfort food, and plenty of space to unwind, it’s the ultimate hangout spot right here at Chula Vista Golf Course.

🐾 Breakfast with Bluey Recap 🐾

This past Sunday’s Breakfast with Bluey was a sold-out success! Families enjoyed a delicious breakfast while kids joined Bluey for story time, a lively dance party, face painting, glitter fun, and coloring activities. Parents sipped on mimosas and cocktails from the bar while the little ones had a blast with their favorite pup. Bluey had an amazing time meeting everyone — and so did we!

Due to the overwhelming response, we’re excited to share that Breakfast with Bluey will be back this January. Stay tuned for details — you won’t want to miss it!

🍺 Beer of the Month .394 San Diego-Style Pale Ale

It’s playoff season, and we’re celebrating with a hometown favorite! This month, enjoy a refreshing pint of .394 IPA—crafted in honor of baseball legend Tony Gwynn—for just $5. Available at the snack bar or right from the beverage cart while you’re out on the course. Raise a glass to great beer, great games, and good times at Chula Vista Golf Course!

Golf Tip of the Month

Pick Your Target
One of the easiest ways to improve accuracy is to sharpen your focus before every swing. Instead of aiming at “the fairway” or “the green,” pick a very specific target — like a tree in the distance, the corner of a bunker, or even a blade of grass a few yards ahead.

By narrowing your focus, you give your mind and body a clear goal to work toward. Golfers who practice target-focused aiming often find their swings become more confident and consistent — and missed shots end up closer to where they wanted them to go.

Next time you tee it up, don’t just swing toward the hole. Pick your target and commit to it!
